Get Social with EWGARemember the Polaroid camera? It was the first instant gratification medium in photography. It was introduced in 1947 and it took 34 years before the next big leap to occur. Sony introduced the Mavica (Magnetic Video Camera) digital camera for public use in 1981. The Mavica was unique in that images were stored on a floppy disc inside the camera.  In 2008, Apple introduced the first iPhone. From there, the era of selfies began and photography hasn't been the same since.
