Chapter elections

Submit Nominations
Dear LPGA Amateur Golf Association Boston member,

Chapter elections are here, please help shape the future of our Chapter!  Do you have a passion for golf? Do you wish to make an impact in the community?  Or do you know a fellow member who would make a great Board member?  We need your help.  We have many capable and willing members who have the skills, talent, and desire to lead our Chapter. This is your opportunity to make a positive difference, nominate yourself or someone else for a Chapter Board position.
Each year we conduct elections for the Chapter Board members in accordance with our bylaws, the new Board will start
The Board positions are set up in staggered rotation, this prevents the entire Board from turning over in any given ear. This year we will be electing the following Board of Directors roles:
President: 1-year term
Member Recruitment Director: 2-year Term
Events and Activities Director: 2-year Term
Marketing Director: 2-year Term
Finance and Records Director: 2-year Term

Included below and linked to this message, you will find a Nomination Form, an overview of the duties of each open office and a Chapter Board Agreement each candidate will sign which outlines the expectations of our Leadership team.  You can nominate yourself or someone else from the membership who you feel would be an asset to our leadership and foster the growth of our Chapter. Our mission is connecting women to learn, play and enjoy golf for business and for fun.
Being a Chapter Board Member or serving in a key capacity is a meaningful way to contribute to the Chapter decisions and operations and help carry out our mission.
There are many proven benefits of volunteering for our group, for example, it is a great way to build relationships while making a positive change.  (click here to read fifteen proven benefits of volunteering)   Please consider making a leadership commitment and complete and return the attached nomination form.
Many of us joined the former EWGA Boston chapter without knowing anyone in the organization. The friendships and connections we have made and the lives we have touched have been amazing rewards.  I hope you will join us in sharing that experience by serving our local LPGA Amateur Golf Association chapter.
