2018 has delivered a perfect year of golf and networking opportunities! How fortunate we are to live in Central Oregon. It’s been a busy summer with mid-week, weekend play and monthly socials! I hope you have been using your Passport because first place and second place prizes are spectacular! There is still time to find your crinkled-up Passport in your golf bag and get out and play at our sponsor courses! Remember to get your Passport signed and send Jenny a picture. Winners will be announced at our October 29 end of season party at Juniper.
First place includes 18 holes for 2 at the Florence Golf Links (formerly known as Sand Pines Golf Links) AND one night at the beautiful River House Inn in Florence.
Second place includes 18 holes for 2 at Tokatee AND Quail Run.
When playing at our sponsor courses it’s important to identify yourself as a member of the LPGA Amateur Golf Association in Central Oregon, or for short, LPGA Amateurs. This is a way to spread the word about our organization and our chapter.
Golfers and non-golfers immediately recognize the LPGA name and it’s important to remember the Association’s Core Values when interacting with others and how you conduct yourself both on and off the course. The Association believes in and conducts itself according to the values embodied by the game of golf: Honesty, Integrity, Respect, Honor, Sportsmanship, Fun and Friendship.
Please join me in a warm welcome to our newest board members: Laurel Ewing – Co-Director of Events and Activities; Diana Chamberlin – Recruitment Director; and Ashley Burbank – Marketing Director. Learn more about your Board of Directors in our October / November newletter
Cheers to more golf and networking opportunities!
