President's Message

As the weather finally improves, we begin our 2018 golf season with a new name and a new logo. While our transition from EWGA to LPGA Amateur Golf Association is ongoing, we on the Long Island Chapter board are looking forward to another great year.

As always, the chapter will be offering many opportunities to play, learn and have fun. In addition to our many leagues, we are planning several golf outings to welcome newcomers, to introduce alternate competitive formats, and to support charitable causes. We are also delighted to be hosting chapter champions from around the region in the LPGA Amateur Golf Association Metro Northeast District Semi-Final tournament in August, just one of the many competitive events available to our members. Please check this website often throughout the season for more information about these events, as well as rules, etiquette, and handicap seminars, clinics, and social activities.

Volunteers are always needed to help plan and run our events, so please reach out to any board member if you are interested in contributing to our continued success. I look forward to seeing many of you during the golf season and wish you all a happy and healthy 2018.
