Special Olympics Volunteers 6/9 & 6/10
Member Theresa Ulbricht runs the 2-day golf tournament for Special Olympics as part of their Summer Games. The event will be held on Sat/Sun June 9 & 10 at Recreation Park South in Long Beach. Athletes either play the 9 hole executive course on their own (Level 4) or with a partner alternating shot format (Level 2). The first tee time on Sat is 12:30pm while on Sunday we start at 9am. She is looking for volunteers to be a starter for both or either of the days (3 hour commitment) or if someone is interested in walking with a team to verify the score or help when the teams get in to verify the score and write it on the scoreboard.
